Clarian Cancer Center

Indiana University is constructing a new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center that allows patients from Indiana and around the country to receive the most comprehensive and innovative cancer treatment.  The $150 million facility will be connected to the Indiana University Hospital on the IU Medical Center campus.  The center will make the most advanced treatments and modern resources available at Indiana 's only National Cancer Center Institute.  The new facility will have the capacity for 80 new cancer treatment beds and facilities for up to 40 patients receiving chemotherapy, as well as many other patient and family services.  Many of the scientists in the complex will be working hard to bring new treatments from cutting-edge scientific research to the bedside of cancer patients. The 405,216 square-foot building is scheduled to open in 2008.

Our team worked with Clarian and the contractor, Ermco, to set up the Cancer Center project.  First Electric Supply is using a variety of lighting representatives for this particular project that include: LightSource, Specified Lighting, Techlite, and ESL Spectrum.  We are supplying Ermco with light fixtures, Siemens gear, and S&C transformers.  We are also providing a variety of miscellaneous materials that include conduit, cable tray, Post Glover, Lutron Systems, Hubbell Wiring Devices, and Wiremold Wall & Floor duct.  First Electric is providing Ermco with material management for the Clarian Cancer Center project.
